Ahane’s earned a hard fought victory in Group 1 of the Senior Hurling Championship against a spirited Bruff side in Caherconlish last evening.
Ahane led 1-6 to 0-7 at half-time and ended the game with a precious 2-10 to 0-14 win at Caherconlish scoring 1-02 from Tom Morrissey without reply.
