AHANE GOLF CLASSIC 2017
Last Thursday 15th and Friday 16th June saw Ahane host their annual Golf Classic in Castletroy Golf Club.
It seemed as if Ahane GAA had taken over the Golf club over the 2 days with Ahane flags and banners in full show around the clubhouse.
A total of 76 teams participated over the 2 days and there was also some incredibly generous sponsorship and support from local businesses, which helped to make the event a hugely successful venture and Ahane GAA Club would like to sincerely thank all those that supported it. There was also a very popular hole in one competition for a car, which attracted huge interest over the 2 day event.
Huge credit to all the volunteers who made the event run so smoothly and also to Castletroy Golf Club for the splendid condition of the golf course and the fabulous food served both on the course and afterwards.
There was a splendid array of sponsored prizes at the presentation on Friday night where everyone that attended had a great evenings entertainment.
