Our Senior Hurlers Dan & Evan took charge of the U13 & U14 hurling training on Saturday last. The players thoroughly enjoyed the return to training at Mackey Park after a few weeks break following the 2018 campaign and the group were delighted to see Evan Enright join as mentor / coach to the players for the season ahead. A special welcome was given by the young hurlers to our All-Ireland star Dan Morrissey who will join the group where possible during the year. There was a big emphasis during training on skills, positive play, movement and teamwork. Thanks to Evan and Dan for taking the training and highlighting new drills and methods to develop the players ahead of the 2019 season. Training continues tomorrow - Saturday 20th October - from 4-5pm and we look forward to seeing a big turnout of players developing their skills under the guidance of Evan, Dan and the rest of the mentor group.
